Title: Falling For Her Bodyguard (Brotherhood Protector's Kindle World Novella)

Released: January 11, 2018

Blurb:

They'll risk their lives---and their hearts---in order to survive...

After he's medically discharged from the Marines, ex-sniper Ethan Walker joins the Brotherhood Protectors as an elite bodyguard. Returning to Montana forces him to face his troubled past... and to make matters worse, his first client is a sexy, gorgeous actress who's way out of his league.

Delaney Lawson returns to her hometown to catch up and have fun with her girlfriends. Everything changes when she almost dies in a car accident and discovers it was definitely not accidental. For her safety, she hires Ethan... a muscular, powerful, hot bodyguard who watches her every move. But he's doing more than keeping her safe from the stalker's escalating threats---he's sparking all kinds of naughty thoughts she yearns to act on. Unfortunately, he's determined to keep his hands off her.

Despite their attemps to maintain a professional distance, heat flares between them and their sexual chemistry spirals into an intense connection. But when the stalker's threats against Delaney escalate, Delaney and Ethan must choose between saving themselves... or saving each other.

Excerpt:

"Can it wait until morning?" She lifted her head, her beautiful green eyes glittered with unshed tears. "I just want one night where I can pretend no one is after me. That no one wants to hurt me. Please, Ethan. Just hold me. Don't let me go."

"You're tired." He didn't break their fagil contact. But he should. He really needed to create some distance between them. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to stop himself from acting on every wild impulse he had about being with her. "You need to get some sleep."

"I'm afraid. What if Joh comes here?"

"Don't be. I'll be right outside your bedroom door." Fuck. She looked so damn vulnerable, but he couldn't take advantage of her fear. "He'd have to get through me first."

"I don't want you outside my bedroom door." She stroked her hands up his back until they reached the base of his neck. "I can't stand the idea of being alone tonight."

He shouldn't. No. Nada. No way should he agree to be with her. There had to be some code in the Brotherhood Protectors's manifesto against crawling into bed with their clients. But he understood all too well the aftereffects of dodging danger. The adrenaline rush fllowed by the realization that death nearly caught you in its snare.

"I'll stay with you," he said. "Hold you. But nothing more. I won't take advantage of you."

"That's okay, as long as you don't stop me from taking advantage of you," she said, kissing his jaw and moving her lips closer, closer still to his mouth.

Title:  A Meddle of Wizards (Fledging Magic)

Released:  January 9, 2018

Blurb:

Welcome to Tandara, where gods are fickle, nightmares are real, and trolls make excellent bakers...

Raine Stewart always thought she would die young in Alabama, alone and miserable from her chronic illness. Until a man in a shabby cloak walked in through her mirror and demanded help to stop a bloodthirsty wizard who worships a mad god.

Raine is sure she's hallucinating, just one more insult from her failing body. But she refuses anyway. So he kidnaps her, launching her into a world of utmost danger--and urgent purpose.

Tandara is fresh and cruel as nature itself, ruled by unpredictable gods and unstable nations. Shapeshifters and weather-workers advise queens and legends. Giants and trolls patrol unforgiving mountains. Riverboats pulled by sea-cattle ply trade down broad waterways. And creatures of nightmare and farce stalk Raine herself, vicious in the pursuite of her blood.

It's lucky, then, that she's been kidnapped by a bad as resourceful as it is odd: a mage-shy warrior, a tattered wizard, and a prickly troll sorceress. They swear she has power of her own, too. If she can stay under their protection, she might just live long enough to find out...

Excerpt:

"For starters, it's probably a complete waste of time even talking about him," Aubree said, turning the volume of her voice upward. "Oh, Grammy, I'm so heartbroken. We've been seeing each other for almost a year and I had no idea. I feel like an idiot." She rose from her seat and shuffled across the creaky wooden porch to the railing where she could see her grandfather, Warren, on his knees digging intently into the soil around the rose bushes. "All I've ever wanted is someone just like Grandpa," she said, pointing across the yard. "He is the perfect man," she said, affection in her voice.

At thirty-years-old, she wondered if she would ever find Mr. Right.

Her cover is blown and her face is all over the tabloids. Now she must run again.
Rocky, a rancher living in the same town, offers to help her escape. Not quite trusting him, or the attraction she feels for him, she's reluctant--that is, until her stepfather's minions show up and she realizes she's out of options. Now both she and Rocky are on the run from one of the most powerful men in New York, and things are about to get ugly...

Excerpt:

He wanted to help, and he probably could--if she could trust him...

Olivia picked her chair up and sat. Sipping her coffee, she watched him a few seconds. "Okay then. Talk," she finally said.

"I was military intelligence for a number of years so,  it's something where you need help in that direction, I'm your man. If you need someone with weapons skills, I'm your guy there, too."

"Why would you think I need that type of help?"

"Since you got so offended when I made the comment about your mother's illness, my training tells me there's something else going on here than a mere fear by a daughter of being held back by her mother's issues. Why don't you tell me what is going on and let me see if there's any way for me to assist you."

"Answer one question first."

"What's that?"

"Why? Why are you so gung-ho to help me? We've never really hit it off and, all of a sudden, you're being kind and want to act like the Boy Scout who helps the old lady across the street."

The phone started ringing again. They let it pay out. Rocky picked up where they left off. "I want to help you because I'm a nice guy, no matter what you might think, and I see you need it. There's a mob outside your door who would eat you alive if given half a chance. You could call Sharon to assist you but I'm quite sure my skill-set is a bit better at handling those people out there than hers."

"You're probably right, but can you blame me for doubting your motives?"

He shook his head. This was getting ridiculous.

"You're right. I'm done. Have a nice life." Rocky rose from his seat, shoved the chair under the table and turned toward the back door.

In the moment his hand touched the knob, she said, "Okay. Okay. Sorry. I do need help. Please come and sit. I'll tell you everything."
