Yes, I know I've changed up a classic, but for anyone who has come to an end of a book or series, they understand it's so hard to say goodbye.
Recently, I was hooked on a new TV series called The Mob Doctor. It had everything that I loved to watch. Medical drama, mobsters, a love triangle and sexy men. You knew that last was coming, right? Well, it appears they've cancelled it. So sad. I loved William Forsythe's role. He's got a great voice. The last episode wrapped up several plot lines. At least, they were kind enough to do it, but I really wished they hadn't killed off my favorite character (William). I like to think he's still alive and looking after his daughter, Grace.
Thankfully, Anne Stuart hadn't disappointed me in her ICE series. I so wanted her to keep going and thankfully she self-published ON THIN ICE. It was as wonderful as the rest of the series. Yet, I still want MORE!
And now, I come to the end of THE CIRCLE series with CIRCLE OF DECEPTION. It will always hold a special place in my heart as it was the series that got me published. I had hoped to write at least three to five more books in the series and with the publishing industry as it is, I may still do it one day.
In fact the other day, I sent out my newsletter and my mailing list received the first scene in Jack's story that revealed his heroine. I'm hoping to finish his story one day.
Do you have a series (TV, Movie, Book) that you miss so much?
By the way, I'm celebrating the release of the paperback version of CIRCLE OF DECEPTION today! Isn't it great how I have two release dates per book? LOL!

Hello Carla,
I'm old and there are a lot of shows I watched in the 70's that I miss. However I really miss WILL & GRACE. I will be very sad when BIG BANG THEORY ends. IMO it's the best comedy on TV now. I would love to read CIRCLE OF DECEPTION!
Have a great day.

I was so disappointed when Samantha Who ended. My daughter and I loved that show. It was our girl time and about the only time we could control the remote.
It breaks my heart when a book series ends. I become so invested with the characters. When Catherine Mann finished her Wingman Series books I was very sad. But she is now writing novella's with the children of the characters in Wingman series. Love It!
Hey, Mel. You sound like me. As soon as I start watching a new TV series I dread when it ends. Or worse, go off the deep end (a.k.a TWO AND HALF MEN). LOL!
Shellbelle, my oldest daughter and I use to watch La Femme Nikita together. In fact, she would come home while on a date to watch it with me. Thank goodness, her date was a good sport. LOL!
I MISS FIREFLY, oh and Buffy, and the David Tennant Doctor Who. Gonna go cry now.....ok back. Thanks so much for the opportunity. The book looks great!
LOL! They really messed up when they cancelled FIREFLY! Thanks, Carey.
I miss Christine Feehan's Drake sisters series

And the tv show Gilmore Girls!
The Gilmore Girls was so cute and original for the time. Thanks, Timitra!
I miss Charmed Blood Ties and Farscape :(
Hi Carla. I really wish that Friends is still an ongoing TV series. i really love this show. I get to watch the reruns though. So at least that's comforting.

I hated the way they dropped THIRD WATCH without resolving anything. I miss FIREFLY, and I am still grieving over the end of the HARRY POTTER series. I'm sure I'll feel the same way if and when George R.R. Martin ends his A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE series.
Congrats on your release!
Oh, Bama, I missed Farscape too.
Diana, I actually didn't fall in love with Friends until it went into reruns. Maybe there was another show on the other channel I watched at the time. :-)
Thanks, Lexi! I hate it too when they leave everyone hanging on a series.
Hi Carla,
I was unhappy when 24 was cancelled. It was so action packed that my heart rate would be accelerated throughout the whole show!

Hi, Carla!
Cool post! And congratulations on the paperback release! A show I was sad to see cancelled was Moonlight. Oh and Fastlane! I hate how they ended both so abruptly. Sigh.
Kiefer Sutherland is a wonderful actor. I watched the first two episodes of his new series Touch and thought how great it was but for some reason didn't see anymore.
Thanks for stopping by, DeAnna.
bn100, Friends was a great show for sure.
Oh, my goodness, I completely forgot about Fastlane. That show was so sexy. Hmm. The guy in the leather pants. Lordy, Lordy!
And of course, my man Bruce. The man gets better with age. Wowsa! Thanks, Naima.

That should read: "If you DON'T see an email from me tonight..."
Congratulations on your release! Endings always seem unnatural. Stories are never-ending...aren't they? There are few things more irritating than finding your favorite tv show or series (book/movie) cancelled. I was so mad when they abruptly cancelled Farscape leaving the show on a giant cliff hanger, I actually mailed a protest letter to the company who cancelled it.
Almost worse than killing off favorite characters and ending stories (to me) is the irritating trick of replacing main characters with new characters. The characters you've come to love are thrown into the cosmic bin and you're expected to accept new irritating characters who don't fit. There was this fantastic show set in the Scottish Highlands...it still makes me mad that instead of ending the show properly (because several main actors wanted to go do something else) the writer/producers ruined it. I think sometimes the right ending is better than a dragging on.
It just depends on the story.
Thank you, Cari.
I know what you mean about dragging a series after it has died and been buried as far as story line. They did that with the TV series Cheers.
Thank you, Carla!! I just replied to your e-mail. I can't wait to read CIRCLE OF DECEPTION!
