Blog Marathon This week! Hero and Heroines Giveaway

There is something about this time of year when it gets a bit chillier, the days are cloudier, and snow starts to drift down. It promotes snuggling up on a comfy chair with a cup of hot something (like cocoa or toddies) and a good book. If you're lucky you may have a fire place, with a warm fire crackling. Perhaps you have music playing--something festive.

Sounds good.

My reality is--there is no snow (at least not much in the south). Lots of drizzly days (which I like) and instead of happily curling up on a couch I'm fending off the viruses that apparently decide this is the time to wage war. I swear I'm taking stock out in Lysol.

Still, I read. Because even in the midst of chaos--the book is what I look for.

So, I decided to invite a few my Author friends to share what they working on or have worked on. Yes, I was inspired by the Blog Hop that is going around, but instead of using the same questions and going to other blogs--we are staying here.

The questions that will be answered by the authors below are (my answers I posted November 21, 2012):
  • What book/story are you focusing on with blurb.
  • Is it a stand alone or part of a series?
  • Who are the Hero/Heroine (or protagonists)?
  • What do they (Hero/Heroine) look like?
  • What is their favorite food or drink?
  • What are they likely to wear to a formal event? (Would they even go to a formal event, why or why not?)
  • What are they afraid of?
  • If given orders what is the first reaction?
  • What is there favorite color (s)?
  • What do they consider romantic?
  • What keeps them apart?
The following Authors have been tagged--prizes will be awarded!

Tuesday December 11: Carla Swafford
Wednesday December 12: Rashda Khan
Thursday December 13: Suzanne Johnson
Friday December 14: Moriah Densley

So in the spirit, I am awarding a digital download of my book, Incandescent for those who can accept it. I will announce the winner here tomorrow morning at the bottom of this post. Blustery cold days make me want to curl up on the couch with a good movie, a hot beverage, and my knitting. Sometimes I substitute the movie with a good audio book!

Today would be perfect, its grey and drizzly!

Hi, Mary!
on cold, blustery days I love to stay curled up in bed under the covers, have the heater blasting, a good book I can read in between dozing and watching a Gunsmoke marathon! Sigh. Yeah...I want one of those...

M.V.Freeman said...

On a cold winter's day, I get my favorite fleece throw and hot chocolate with real marshmallows and curl up in my chair. This time of year, I watch a lot of Lifetime and Hallmark movies.

M.V.Freeman said...

That sounds marvelous! I love the sound of it.

And I chuckled about the lifetime and Hallmark movies. I just saw a cute one last night. :)

I already have my copy as you well know and LOVED IT!

And that's a dangerous question to ask me. My answer has to be a hot book and a hotter man. LOL!
