The List

It's that time of year when people make wish lists to Santa. Now, in all honesty, if I could have anything I wanted, I would wish for another me! There just aren't enough hours in the day to do everything. But, instead, I'm asking Santa for the second best thing, the Harry Potter series. I've never read the books nor watched the movies. (Why yes, it does feel as though I've been living in a cave!) Needless to say, I'm super excited to look under the tree Christmas morning this year.

What is on your list to Santa this year?

Wish I could go back and read them for the first time all over again. She is AMAZING. I've asked Santa for an IPOD to use on the treadmill. Nothing fancy, just something to hold music. Tired of the old armband radio thing. Too many commercials and, if I don't hold my arm at the right angle, static!

You are in for such a treat, Kat. There is nothing like stepping into another world and living there for a while. Rowling's books definitely do that and more. I envy you the discovery.

Like you, I wish I could have another me or simply more time in every day under my Christmas tree!

Barring that, Gerard Butler and/or Richard Armitage wearing a nice big strategically placed bow, a smile and nothing else will do. I really have been very good this year, Santa.

I know someone whose father (for her birthday) bought her everything on her Amazon wishlist. It cost a lot, but he's not poor. I wouldn't mind a gift like that! One day I'll have to do that as one almighty gift-to-self.
We wouldn't see the tree for boxes (or the boxes of shelves to put the books on) but dang that would be fun!

I already have my gift. A new refrigerator. The other stopped working. Thankfully I had the money to pay for it - money saved up for Anaheim. Now I'll have to start from zero but I should be okay if nothing else breaks.

Though hubby is replacing the roof (started leaking again during the rains) - it's his turn. :-)

Love her books, I really hope you enjoy them.
Hmm. What do I want?
Oh...I don't know. Is that weird?
In my dreams I'd like to have a MacBook.
Reality? I'll take coffee or a gift card to B&N. ;)
(But Louisa..you had some good ideas too....)

Love Harry Potter--like Lexi, I'd like to read it again for the first time. Also would like a clone or more hours in a day. I'll settle for some uninterrupted writing time over the holidays...fingers crossed!
