Never stop learning. Never give up. Period.

This blog is for those of us who are "of a certain age" and as yet unpublished. But even those of you who have many years to go before reaching that certain age (whatever it may be) will find this article inspiring too. I hope.


And don't ever give up.

Yep, always good to know it can happen.

It happened for me at 53, after 15 years of writing, four years of querying and over 140 rejections!

BTW, I've entered the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award THREE times. Never made it past the preliminary stage. Sigh.

On a nicer note, I just finished the second manuscript for this year. Holy smokes. Polished and read to go. Querying this weekend and bracing myself for the Rs...

Kat -- glad you liked it. I know young whipper snappers might read it and go "Like, OMG. I have to wait til I'm in my 50s??? That's like, OMG, ancient."

But for me? It was encouraging.
